I am back!! It's been quite some time since I have been active on DA! Sorry that I have been neglecting all my wonderful fellow DA'ers, but I have been so busy with my course (which I started in January). On top of that I had my family from Belgium here for about 3 weeks in June, we went on holidays for a week in July and at the end of August between all my studying, work and all the rest. My course if finally running slower, so I have some more time for DA!
I hope to be finished at the end of the year with my course and then I'll have even more time! While my family was visiting Vancouver we went sight seeing almost every day in Vancouver and the surrounding area. I had some nice photo opportunities and enjoyed to be a tourist together with my family in my own city again. We had so much fun! In July my husband I went to the interior of BC for a week where we just had a lazy week by a lake. It was wonderful with hot and sunny weather.
At the end of August we decided to go on a little trip for about 5 days to the USA and we choose for Olympic National Park. We heard a lot about it and after doing some research on this park I realized that what I've heard is true, so we wanted to go and see it for ourselves. Olympic National Park is located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State in the most northwestern corner of the USA.
This park is an amazing park with 3 different ecosystems. You can enjoy the amazing surf at the beautiful beaches with the sea stacks rising from the ocean, you can enjoy spectacular alpine country dotted with sparkling lakes, lush meadows and glaciers, and you can enjoy North America's finest temperate rain forest. The weather was great while we were there and we saw some amazing things. As you can imagine I had quite some photo opportunities and will start sharing these photos with you. So, watch my gallery as a bunch of new photos will be added soon!
That's that for now and I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying yourselves! Thanks for dropping by, even when I was not active on DA!
Take care,
Ann
